Nagare Coffee lands at Triptych Bankside

Triptych Bankside’s shiny new plaza now has the aroma to match its skyline. Nagare Coffee has opened a roomy 1,700-square-foot flagship at 185 Park Street—its third London outpost after Spitalfields and Soho, and the first south of the river.

Nagare means “flow” in Japanese and the menu keeps things moving with single-origin beans, hand-filtered brews and seasonal specials you will not find elsewhere. Pair your flat white with an yuzu cruffin or a matcha-swirled bun, then browse the small edit of Japanese homewares on your way out.

The café completes the street-level line-up at Triptych Bankside, the sculptural mixed-use development designed by Squire and Partners. Solo60’s self-service gym, Uncommon Deli’s wholesome lunches, The Font’s indoor climbing walls and the new Art Academy campus have already pulled fresh energy into this once-quiet corner beside Tate Modern. Now there is a spot for your morning coffee and an afternoon reset.

Co-founder Dora Lau says it best: “We are excited to open the doors to our third Nagare Coffee shop, our new flagship store due to its perfect location and size. We’re looking forward to serving the local community and getting to know our neighbours. Triptych Bankside has brought new vitality to this part of the city and we’re pleased to be a part of this exciting transformation story.”

Florence Wangai, Head of Asset Management at JTRE London, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Nagare Coffee to Triptych Bankside. They are the final piece of the puzzle and complete the exciting retail mix which has been curated here; a huge thanks must go to our commercial agents Savills and Lunson Mitchenall.

“Walking around the site today, there is a real buzz as residents, office workers, neighbours and the wider community enjoy the new public realm and businesses located here. It’s A remarkable transformation from what as an underutilised plot with a vacant empty office building and no public access through the site.
